Perhaps you are tired of looking at the same ole’ boring walls and are ready to spice things up inside your home.  Especially in the case where you may not have many windows, and lots of plain wall space to work with.  Framed photos and art can get old after awhile.  Read on to see how you can design your wall in a unique way in order to take your walls from drab to fab.

  3. Vinyl Wall Decals. These are growing more and more popular, and there are so many decals available.  You can even customize them on certain sites to say exactly what you want them to say.  Perhaps it is a verse from the Bible or an ancient proverb. Or, you can even find wall decals in the form of pictures and shapes to use in children’s bedrooms.

  5. Textured Walls. Adding texture to a wall can bring it to life in a matter of hours.  It adds shape and dimension, something to catch the eye.  The best way to add texture to your walls without spending lots of money and time, but still using quality material, is through the use of faux wall paneling.  Add faux stone, faux brick, or faux wood paneling to create accent walls, wainscoting, kitchen backsplashes, fireplaces, or stone showers in no time.  The material is so durable that it is resistant to mold, mildew, and rot.  It is also UV resistant and weatherproof if you wanted to transform your exterior walls.
  6. Clever Kid’s Bedroom Walls. Children’s bedrooms are practically a blank canvas.  They are so much fun to decorate, and the opportunities are endless.  Clever kid’s bedroom walls involve ideas such as paper butterfly stickers.  Check out the photo below to see what we mean.

These types of stickers can be made on your own, or purchased online along with many other types of animals.  Another fun idea is to have a mural painted.  If you are talented enough to do this yourself, then go for it!  Otherwise, find a local artist who can paint your child’s fantasy world onto his or her wall.  They won’t be able to contain their excitement each time they step foot into their magical room.
